NPH USA is
dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned, abandoned and at-risk
children through supporting the
Nuestros Peque Hermanos
(NPH, Spanish for Our Little Brothers and Sisters) network of
orphanage homes and their outreach programs in nine countries
throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
NPH children are not available for adoption; instead they
form a part of a larger, stable family environment that gives them a
chance to focus on education and personal growth, knowing that a
loving support system will always be in place for them.
They are taught the importance of hard work, sharing with
others, and the responsibility of maintaining a happy home.
Father Mike Foley
has been a frequent visitor to NPH homes over the years.

The children who live in NPH homes are called
pequea±os, the Spanish
word that translates to little ones in English.
In the spring of 2014, a group of pequeños from
NPH Nicaragua were hosted by OLW families while the group was on a
three week long fundraising and awareness raising tour of the
Chicago area. During
that time, the group performed at a weekend's worth of Masses at OLW
and the parish threw a big fundraising fiesta for them in the gym.
In June of 2014, three members of the
Koperdowski family (Peter, Natalia and Alec) from OLW Parish joined
a mission trip to NPH Nicaragua.

Governments in the countries where NPH operates are
quick to send orphaned, abandoned and at-risk children to live in an NPH
home, but those same governments do not provide financial support to the
NPH homes. For that, NPH
depends on the generosity of thousands of donors giving what they can to
support the least of God's people His Little Brothers and Sisters.
The King will reply, Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one
of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
